One match. One summit. Countless opportunities. ๐ช๐ธ๐บ๐ธโฝ
What an incredible day bringing together leaders from business, government, sports, and the international community to explore how global sporting events can drive economic development, innovation, and lasting international partnerships. The conversations featured an outstanding lineup of leaders from FIFA, The Coca-Cola Company, the Atlanta Falcons, AMB Sports & Entertainment, the NFL Spain, Major League Soccer, FC Barcelona, Atlanta United FC, the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Dream, U.S. Soccer, Georgia Power, Telemundo, and TEG Sport North America, highlighting how sports continue to drive investment, innovation, tourism, and global business.
A special thank you to the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce and the Metro Atlanta Chamber for their outstanding collaboration in bringing the inaugural Global Business & Sports Summit to life. It was inspiring to see organizations from both sides of the Atlantic working together to strengthen the relationship between Spain and Atlanta.
And I may be a little biased, but the Spain U.S. Chamber of Commerce, led by Juan Carlos Pereira, has been an exceptional team to work with. A heartfelt thank you to Ana Lluch, Marta Roca Latorre, Mario Fernรกndez Carenas, and Nuria Soriano Salvador for the countless hours behind the scenes that made this event such a success.A special thank you as well to Stefan Harrigan and Faith Cox from the Metro Atlanta Chamber for their partnership and support in helping bring this collaboration to life. It was a true team effort.
It was also wonderful to make new connections, reconnect with longtime colleagues, and see people joining throughout the day before gathering at Casa Espaรฑa to cheer on Spain during the Spain vs. Cape Verde match.
