On November 18, our Founder, Vanessa Ibarra, had fun speaking at Clark Atlanta University’s Global Business & Entrepreneurship Panel + Networking Night at the new Robert H. “Bob” Bell Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurial Development.
I joined fellow leaders from across Atlanta’s global ecosystem including French American Chamber of Commerce Atlanta Southeast, Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce – Southeast Chapter, Atlanta Black Chambers Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Georgia, Georgia Haitian American Chamber of Commerce, Inc., Atlanta Jamaica Association, U.S. Africa Chamber of Commerce, Honorary Consul of Barbados David D. Cutting, and Delta Air Lines to discuss global careers, leadership, and share insights from cross-cultural readiness to seizing international opportunities.
We explored what it means to lead across borders, how cities like Atlanta stay globally competitive, and how students can prepare for international opportunities and partnerships. The audience included faculty, international students, and Atlanta-based students eager to study abroad, exactly the kind of globally minded community that makes Atlanta so special.
