ANNOUNCEMENT | We’re thrilled to share that TheSharedWorld is partnering with the Consulate General of Argentina in Atlanta to support a dynamic delegation of 13 Argentine technology companies specializing in Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, Gaming, HealthTech, Software Development, Consulting, Retail, and Staff Augmentation as they visit Atlanta.
Led by Ambassador Alec Oxenford and Consul General Alana Lomonaco Busto, this mission, part of the Argentina Delivers initiative, is dedicated to transforming connections into collaborations and collaborations into long-term partnerships that help U.S. companies scale faster in today’s evolving talent landscape. Over the course of two days, the delegation will engage in high-impact events and B2B sessions designed to spark meaningful opportunities and deepen innovation ties between Argentina’s tech leaders and Georgia’s thriving innovation ecosystem.
On Monday, November 17, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Promenade Central Conference Center (1200 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30309), the Consulate General of Argentina will host an inspiring session in partnership with the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and TAG International Business.
The program will feature a fireside conversation from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm between Ambassador Alec Oxenford, Argentina’s Ambassador to the United States, and Larry Williams, President and CEO of TAG. An accomplished entrepreneur and investor, Ambassador Oxenford holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is the founder of several global marketplace platforms, including DeRemate, OLX, and letgo, two of which achieved unicorn status. He also led the Alpha Capital SPAC IPO on Nasdaq and now invests in early-stage U.S. tech ventures through Myelin Venture Capital. Their discussion will explore the parallels between Georgia’s innovation ecosystem and Argentina’s thriving tech scene, with insights on the global talent crunch, nearshoring opportunities, and the future of digital collaboration.
Following the session, from 3:00-5:00 pm, guests will participate in a B2B Speed Meeting + Wine Tasting Experience, a unique networking event where U.S. businesses can connect directly with Argentina’s leading tech companies while sampling the country’s world-class wines—each label symbolically paired with a participating firm to celebrate Argentina’s creativity, diversity, and excellence.
