In a significant move to strengthen transatlantic ties, TheSharedWorld and Czech Business Incubator Atlanta Inc. are partnering for an economic mission to Brno, Czech Republic, from October 7–10, 2025, during the renowned MSV 2025 International Industrial Fair, one of Central and Eastern Europe’s most prominent industrial exhibitions. The event draws over 1,400 exhibitors and 55,000 visitors from more than 40 countries, providing an unparalleled platform for companies to engage with global decision-makers across sectors such as digitization, robotics, cybersecurity, 3D technologies, energy, advanced manufacturing, and transportation. As part of this collaboration, they will be partnering with BVV Trade Fairs and the Brno Regional Chamber of Commerce.
This marks the second mission led by the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic, following the success of the inaugural 2024 mission, where Georgia municipalities and businesses explored new market opportunities and meaningful transatlantic partnerships.
The Georgia–Czech mission is designed to deepen transatlantic ties by creating pathways for Georgia companies to enter the Czech market, while also providing Georgia municipalities and economic development agencies a platform to promote their regions for FDI from Czech companies seeking to enter the U.S. Supported by diplomatic and economic institutions on both sides of the Atlantic, participants—whether attending or exhibiting—will gain access to high-level Czech and EU industry and government leaders, curated B2B and G2G matchmaking, a full-access MSV Fair pass, visits to innovation and technology parks, premium booth space, and speaking opportunities.
Honorary Consul Monika Vintrlikova, who has played a key role in advancing Czech-American ties, noted, “This economic mission is an opportunity for counties and organizations to promote Georgia as a destination for business, and for Czech companies to explore new opportunities in the United States. Through this collaboration, we will continue to strengthen relationships through commerce, innovation, and diplomatic engagement.”
Highlighting the significance of the MSV Fair, Jan Kubata, CEO of BVV Trade Fairs Brno, emphasized, “The MSV Fair is a major hub for global industrial innovation. It’s a great chance for Georgia to showcase its leadership and connect internationally.”
Underscoring the strategic importance of this partnership, Czech Ambassador to the United States, Miloslav Stašek, added, “This initiative marks an important step forward in deepening the already dynamic and productive relationship between the Czech Republic and the state of Georgia. Our two regions continue to build a strong track record of cooperation in areas such as innovation, advanced manufacturing, and economic development.”
This mission builds on the momentum of the official launch of the Czech Business Incubator Atlanta Inc. in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, in March 2025. Designed to support Czech companies entering the U.S. market, the incubator provides various services including office space, business networking opportunities, and access to Georgia’s innovation ecosystem. At its inauguration, 14 Czech companies showcased cutting-edge innovations, and seven participated in Georgia Tech’s Soft Landings program to explore U.S. expansion opportunities.
This economic mission reflects the growing economic relationship between the Czech Republic and the State of Georgia, anchored by robust trade and investment. Georgia’s exports to the Czech Republic total approximately $26.54 million, while imports stand at $211.51 million. Several Czech companies, including PBS Aerospace Inc., SOPO US, Inc., Silent US, Inc., and ALBAForm Inc., have successfully established operations in Georgia, reinforcing the state’s reputation as a gateway for global business.
Strategic diplomacy has further supported the relationship. Since its inception, the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Georgia, initially led by George Novak and since 2020 by Monika Vintrlikova, has played a vital role in supporting Czech nationals, facilitating cultural and commercial exchanges, and fostering strategic partnerships. Under Vintrlikova’s leadership, numerous political and business delegations from the Czech Republic have visited Georgia to enhance these ties, including Czech Ambassador to the United States, Miloslav Stašek and Minister of Transportation, Martin Kupka.
Among the landmark achievements between the two regions is the 2019 sister airport agreement between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Prague’s Václav Havel Airport, ATL’s first such agreement in Europe. This partnership has promoted cooperation in airport development, digitalization, and customer experience.
In 2023, the Brno University of Technology and the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (on behalf of Georgia Tech) signed an MOU to explore academic and research collaborations. Additionally, the Czech Business Incubator Atlanta Inc. formed a partnership with the Brno Regional Chamber of Commerce to support the expansion of U.S. companies into the Central European market. These efforts culminated in the launch of the incubator in 2025, solidifying Brno and Atlanta as key transatlantic innovation partners.
As a core mission partner, TheSharedWorld reaffirmed its commitment to international collaboration. “We are committed to strengthening commercial and innovative ties between the United States and global markets,” the organization shared. “This collaboration with Czech Business Incubator Atlanta Inc. reflects a shared vision to connect American and Czech businesses, foster knowledge exchange, and drive forward initiatives that enhance foreign direct investment, innovation, and economic growth on both sides of the Atlantic.”
